Questions

What counts as a key?

One source string, such as checkout.cart.itemsCount. Its translations into every language are included, so 1,000 keys in 12 languages is still 1,000 keys.

Do I pay extra for AI translation?

No. You add your own Claude, OpenAI or DeepL key and the provider bills you at its own rates. Localizify adds no markup, on any plan.

Is the API available on the free plan?

Yes. The REST API, the CLI and the MCP server work on every plan. Create a token under Settings, API tokens.

What happens when I reach my key limit?

Existing keys and translations keep working. New keys aren't added until you upgrade or remove keys you no longer need.

Can I bring my existing files?

Import any of the 20 supported formats with their translations, then export to the same format or a different one.
